5)"Show and Tell"-Al Wilson
This song describes the depth of love between two people and the changes for the better because they are together. The tempo is pretty middle-of-the-row and combines smooth sound with periods of rapidity.
4)"Role Play"- Trey Songz
The tempo is mellowness at its best and creates a feeling of excitement and a sense of freshness that I feel is unparalleled by any other. It goes with this list because it is less traditional and a nice twist.
3)"If I Should Die Tonight"- Marvin Gaye
This song expresses true gratitude and is one of the best songs ever sung. It makes you forget about your troubles and give thanks for what makes you happy.
2)"Let's Stay Together"- Al Green
This song is similar to the last, but is more of a declaration of intentions. The rhythm is one of the best ever, and this is a great song to listen to after a fight.
1)"I Want You"- Marvin Gaye
VERY GROOVY SONG. The raw emotion in this song is captivating, it creates a sense of longing and more of a need than a want. I chose this as number one because it is the essence of the parallels between the rest of the songs; oh yeah, it's a great song in its own right as well. A Great song by the best ever.
You could put any one of these songs on repeat and be set for the whole night, but together I believe they perfectly compliment each other. This compilation expresses inner feelings in a beautiful array of rhythm and lyrics.
