When you're down, one of the first things people grab for is their iPod. Everybody has different tastes, but music typically is something we like when we're in that bad mood. This is the perfect playlist for when you're feeling blue (not like a smurf, like a crying smurf.)
5. Like Toy Soldiers -Eminem
This genius song is one in which Eminem releases his anger about a couple topics, including a feud with another rapper. I like this song because it's got a cool, relaxed beat that can calm you down, while the lyrics explain his feelings.
4. You Belong With Me -My girl (Tay Swift)
Even the stars have troubles, as TSwift recognizes in this song. This song helps you feel like you're not alone-even Taylor struggles (though she eventually gets her dude.)
3. Hailie's Song -Eminem
The lyrics "sometimes I feel like the world's on my shoulders/everyone's leaning on me" often relate to how I'm feeling. Em sings (yeah, I said sings) about his daughter and some of the regrets he has. He then proceeds to rap about the same topic, providing a nice balance of rap and.
2. Live Your Life-TI feat. Rihanna
This seems out of place with these other mellow songs, but I like it because it gets you out of that bad mood. The song's title and chorus suggest that you shouldn't care how others are living, just live your life, which I like. It's upbeat tempo brings happiness, and T.I.'s lines speak out about how worrying about insignificant things like "what kinda car you in," aren't worth the troubles.
1. Sing For The Moment -Eminem
The greatest song of all time combines the sweet chorus of Aerosmith's Dream On with the sweet rhymes of Marshall Mathers. I've always loved this song, but it has it's niche-when you feel down. It has a very relaxed tempo and sends a message concerning the problems with society today, especially the young people.
