Break-Up Music!

Ok so its kinda a little known fact that I listen to country music. Im not exactly sure why I love it so much. My parents dont listen to it and none of my friends really do but I have pretty much since I started making my own music decisions. I was really excited about this blog cause I recently made what in my opinion was quite possibly the best playlist ever. But then I realized there wasnt a very good underlying theme and it was 17 tracks long so it was going to be difficult to limit to five songs. But I was listening to music while doing my homework and I thought of something my uncle used to say. "Country music is about dogs, trucks and heartbreak." I dont really like dogs nor do I own a truck but every teenager has experienced or will experience heartbreak so I decided to make a break-up playlist. It is almost unavoidably nessasary for either you or one of your friends and while this one is a bit countriefied in my opinion it is stellar for a rough break-up.

5. Girls Lie Too- Terri Clark
So this isnt directly related to breaking up but its a girl country singer. It makes me laugh almost everytime I hear it plus its almost totally about relationships. Its just a very sing-along positive song.

4. Heartbreak Town-Dixie Chicks
Just look at the title and you can realize what this is about but its so sad, while being really pretty. It also doesnt have a direct break-up in it but you can kinda see it coming. Plus the word HEARTBREAK is in the title!

3. Forever And Always- Taylor Swift
I could have made this whole playlist Taylor Swift but I felt I needed to include other great breakup songs. But it was really hard to pick which one to put on here and I just like this one. Did you know its said that she wrote this for Nick Jonas?

2. It Happens- Sugarland.
This is such a bad day song. I tried not to put depressing, sad songs on here but instead more upbeat songs. I think this qualifies.

1. Best Days Of Your Life- Kelly Pickler
Best break-up song ever!!! Just listen to it and you will understand what I mean. Or if you want Embry and I can sing it for you. Were very talented.

So I realized after I had done this that these are all girl vocalists. I think that that is very appropriate as well. Not only is my playlist countrified but it is also girlified. Perfect:)
